قال عقيلة دلهوم، رئيس اللجنة الحقوقية والإعلامية للكابتن هانيبال القذافي المُختطف، إن ما عرض في لبنان إعلامياً عن حالة السجين المختطف في أحد السجون اللبنانية “تحت الأرض” مرفقا بحديث منقول عن السجين نفسه يصف فيه ظروف حجزه القسري السيئة جدا، يؤكد تماما ما أشرنا اليه سابقًا، بأن هانيبال الذي يتعرض للسجن بغير وجه قانوني، ويمر بمرحلة صعبة ومتتابعة من سوء المعاملة الممنهجة التي تفتقد إلى مراعاة أبسط الجوانب الإنسانية.
وأكد دلهوم، في تصريحات نقلتها مجلة “الشراع” اللبنانية، أن الحقوق الواجب تقديمها لأي “سجين” داخل أي مؤسسة “قانونية” ينبغي أنها تخضع لضوابط القضاء وأحكام إدارة وتنظيم السجون من حيث أسلوب المعاملة والمعيشة، وبالشكل الذي يضمن سلامة السجين الجسمية والنفسية.
وأشار إلى أن ما تقوم به السلطات اللبنانية “السياسية” تحت عباءة القضاء اللبناني، من حجز لحرية الكابتن هنيبال القذافي، يتعارض مع شروط التقيد بالقواعد التي توصي بها الكثير من المنظمات الحقوقية الدولية، على رأسها “المفوضية السامية لحقوق الإنسان”.
