Al-Yaseer: The elections are an “important step” and all parties must cooperate to achieve it without excluding any faction
The former Chairman of the Defense and National Security Committee of the National Conference, Abdel Moneim Al-Yaseer, said that the time has come for all parties to respond and cooperate on the agreement to reach a solution that brings Libya to a stage of stability.
Al-Yaseer stressed, in statements to Al-Ain News, that the presidential and parliamentary elections are an important step that all parties must cooperate to achieve without excluding any faction and under any justification.
Regarding the expected meeting between the Speaker of the Tobruk Parliament, Aguila Saleh, and Mohamed Takala, Al-Yusir expected that the meeting would produce consensus, and push the wheel of reconciliation and agreement on a project that would bring Libya out of the stage of fragmentation and division.
He pointed out that comprehensive and true reconciliation, recognized by everyone, is a basic condition for the stability of Libya, calling for freedom from fanaticism and isolation behind any slogans or political trends.
