Zuwara Chief Notary: Al-Dabaiba will direct Trabelsi to stop procedures for transferring workers at the Ras Jadeer crossing

Chairman of the Council of Notables and Elders of Zuwarah, Ghali Al-Tuwaini, said that we discussed with the Dabaiba government all the problems facing Zuwarah and the surrounding area, especially since it lacks the minimum services such as electricity and water desalination, adding that we also discussed the issue of Zuwarah Central Hospital and other areas, and it was agreed to send a delegation to the city. Visitors to discuss these strategic projects.

Al-Tuwaini explained, in an intervention on the ideological “Libya Al-Ahrar” channel, that he expects this delegation to visit within about a week to solve all the region’s problems, adding that we have also received news of the possibility of electrical transformers arriving for the purpose of installing them to solve the electricity crisis in the region.

He pointed out that the municipalities in the Libyan border areas are always suffering and their own laws must be put in place, and in Tunisia this must also be implemented, pointing out that setting the date for the opening of the Ras Jadeer crossing is not what we determine, but the sit-in I believe will be dismantled within approximately one day and things will return. To its nature.

He pointed out that we agreed with the Dabaiba government on how to operate the crossing and how we can avoid double standards at the crossing so that work on it can be opened smoothly, explaining that we consulted with the protesters and they assured us of the possibility of dismantling it soon, because the protesters had many demands regarding the work of the crossing and service demands for the entire region. .

He continued that the crossing is sovereign and we are against smuggling, but we have officers and non-commissioned officers working at the crossing who were transferred to other parties and were not replaced by others from the region, indicating that the percentage of workers at the crossing from the region was reduced from 60% to only about 2%.

He continued by saying, “We are against smuggling, and if there is smuggling, it happens at all crossings, but transporting our young people to places far from their places of residence is unacceptable,” adding, “We agreed on several matters with the Council of Ministers, and the Minister of Interior will be directed to implement these demands.”

He concluded by saying, “We are against violations, and any decision against those working at the crossing whose violations are monitored will be implemented, but they will be replaced by members of the people of the region. We have also received promises to solve the problem, and we are waiting for the Prime Minister to implement its promises.”
