Bin Shorada: The return of consultations between Tekala and Saleh will not result in any steps towards forming the government and elections

Member of the Muslim Brotherhood’s Supreme Council, the “Advisory State,” Saad bin Shorada, ruled out that the return of consultations between Aguila Saleh and Muhammad Takala would result in any real steps towards forming a unified government, or holding elections.

Bin Shorada said, in statements to the Saudi newspaper Asharq Al-Awsat, that Takala took a position to express his rejection of the approach and behavior of Aguila Saleh, highlighting that during the past years, disagreements between the two councils had been repeated, which led to the suspension of communication between them, but after a while the consultation resumed, “without any results.” This is a new solution to the political crisis.

Bin Shorada downplayed Takala’s apology for participating in the tripartite meeting in Cairo, which is supposed to include, in addition to Saleh, the President of the Presidential Council, Mohamed Menfi, pointing out that none of the items they agreed upon in the first round, which was held in early March, had been implemented. the past.

He stressed that the real reliance on the issue of achieving a unified government is limited to the course of meetings of what he described as “national forces” from members of the two councils, who previously met in Tunisia at the end of last February.

He believed that these members might accelerate the pace and efforts to form a new unified executive authority that would benefit from budget unification.

Bin Shorada considered that the current goal of this group, which is likely to hold its meeting in the coming days, is to neutralize foreign interference, thus facilitating the task of forming a new unified government for the country, and seeking to banish the specter of division from the country.
