Balha: ruled out the existence of serious consultations regarding forming a new government during the current stage
The head of the Libyan Technocrats Party, Ashraf Balha, ruled out the existence of serious consultations regarding forming a new government during the current stage.
Balha stressed, in statements to Asharq Al-Awsat newspaper, that the matter in forming the government does not depend on resolving differences and restoring communication between the two councils, but rather on the repercussions of approving that budget, from the increasing entrenchment of the Libyan forces in their areas of influence.
He believed that the biggest losers were the people, the forces and the personalities that were preparing to run in the presidential and parliamentary elections.
He explained that the members of the two councils, who participated in a previous meeting in Tunisia, would not be able to formulate and implement any understanding between them due to the lack of compatibility between their agenda and the agenda of the armed forces in the east and west of the country.
