Al-Trabolsi: armed groups will come out of Tripoli and return to the barracks within a month and do not control our “Al-Zawiya”

The militiaman, Imad Al-Trabolsi, the Interior Minister in charge of the Dabaiba government, said that Europe must stand with Libya on the immigration issue, stressing his refusal to settle illegal immigrants in Libya.

In statements to Al-Arabiya Al-Hadath channel, Trabelsi confirmed that Libya hosts 2.5 million refugees, explaining that what European countries are doing imposes the resettlement of migrants in the southern Mediterranean.

He pointed out that there are more than 20,000 Sudanese who fled to Libya as a result of the war in their country, pointing out that we delayed removing the armed groups from the capital because we were busy with the Ras Jedir crossing.

He continued that all leaders of the armed groups welcomed the implementation of the security plan and the exit from Tripoli, indicating that they have no control over the city of Zawiya.

He concluded by saying, “The armed groups will leave Tripoli and return to the barracks within a month.”
