Abdul Kafi: The 95 Libyans detained in South Africa belong to the 20/20 Division of the Tariq bin Ziyad Brigade, affiliated with Haftar

The dismissed officer from the Armed People’s Forces, Adel Karmos, confirmed that the 95 Libyans arrested in South Africa belong to the 20 20 Division of Tariq bin Ziyad’s militia, affiliated with the American Khalifa Haftar.

Abdul Kafi explained, in statements to the newspaper “Asharq Al-Awsat”, that South Africa includes more than 15 thousand security companies authorized to operate on its territory, and operate publicly, but the arrested group entered the country in ways that were not without manipulation of the visa.

He pointed out that the authorities in South Africa have two options: either to complete the investigations with the detainees and imprison them if they are ultimately convicted; or to deport them to eastern Libya.
