Abu Arqoub: Al-Kabir lined up with those demanding the overthrow of Al-Dabaiba government
Political researcher Ahmed Abu Arqoub confirmed that it appears that the Governor of the Central Bank of Libya, Al-Siddiq Al-Kabir, is currently lined up among those demanding the overthrow of the Dabaiba government and the appointment of a new government that will supervise the elections.
Abu Arqoub said, in statements to Al-Hadath channel: “Al-Kabir’s alliance with the last House of Representatives seems to be working toward a basic goal, which is forming a unified government that will supervise the elections, which was clearly demonstrated in the letter from Al-Sadiq Al-kabir to Aguila Saleh, in which he asked him to adopt an imposition of A tax on the exchange rate. In the same letter, he called for the necessity of forming a unified government and issuing a unified budget for the Libyan state.
Abu Arqoub described the decision to impose a tax on the exchange rate as “illegal,” because it was not issued from the Council floor, but rather from the Speaker of Parliament alone, and this is an illegal measure.
