Al-Shoh: Norland will leave the scene soon, and Washington is considering confronting the Russians through the Libyans
The former advisor to the Supreme Council of the Muslim Brotherhood, “The Advisory State,” Ashraf Al-Shoh, said that he does not believe that Richard Norland will bring anything new to our crisis because the period we are going through will be a transitional period for the American administration, adding that there is a wait for the new ambassador who will take over her duties, and Norland will leave the scene and will not be there. He has a role in the coming period.
Al-Shoh confirmed, during an intervention on the ideological “Libya Al-Ahrar” channel, that Norland’s recent visits are within the framework of managing this stage and that he will not have any new plans, and all Washington is thinking about is how to confront the Russians through the Libyans, indicating that the Americans have no intention of They will engage directly in confronting the Russians, and they will use the Libyans to achieve their goals, and they want to push the Libyans not to disturb the Russians with their movements.
He continued that the Americans have not yet succeeded in convincing some Libyans to engage in military operations against the Libyans, explaining that the Americans are at a stage where they cannot determine long-term policies because they are in the elections stage, which may bring an unconventional administration, namely the Trump administration, whose treatment will be different and contrary to what is usual. .
He explained that the Russians are prepared for any American movements to besiege Russian movements, which was made clear by the arrival of Russian warships to Tobruk, because it was a show of strength that we are present and ready to confront any reaction.
He continued by saying, “The Russians are continuing their position in Libya, and it will be a logistical headquarters for expanding its influence in the Sahel countries. As for the Americans, the budget is a major issue because they realize that if financial resources are cut off, this portends instability.”
He added that there are parties that make a living from these resources, and if they are cut off, their positions on the ground will change and it will cause chaos, indicating that Washington is currently focusing on how to deal with the American Khalifa Haftar, who opened the door to the Russians, and whether or not he should be included in the political process.
He added that the Americans had reached a conviction of the necessity of involving the American Haftar in the political process in order to limit the opening of the door wide to the Russians, but it was too late, continuing, “Haftar cannot expel the Russians now and cannot confront him because they have largely gained control of the eastern region, and the Americans are seeking not to enter.” The eastern region is in chaos.”
He believed that Washington fears the return of some extremist groups and movements to eastern Libya, and the same applies to Egypt, adding that the Americans do not plan at all to carry out direct military operations against the Russians, and that in the coming months the Russians will prove their presence before the American elections, taking advantage of deliberate American neglect.
He pointed out that what the Americans did in the Sahel countries, where a coup occurred with the support of Wagner and the Russians, was a collusion to expel the French from the region because they realize that this is an area of influence for them, indicating that the Americans are fully aware that the Russian expansion in the Sahel countries will not continue in the same way as they did. They started it because, from a military and economic standpoint, it requires a strong economy and they are unable to do that.
