“All Eyes on Wagner” organization: Al-Khadim Air Base has become a major Russian military base in Libya
The “All Eyes on Wagner” organization, which monitors Wagner’s activities, confirmed that Al-Khadim Air Base has become a primary Russian military base in Libya, adding that the base is only used by Wagner employees and civilians working in the mines controlled by Wagner in Central Africa, and a number of From Syrian mercenaries.
The organization indicated, in a report published on its official website, that the Al-Khadim base is considered an essential element in the supply chain and human resources of the Wagner Group between Libya and the Central African Republic, and the base is used to transport weapons from Libya to Sudan.
It reported that they obtained satellite images showing the residential and military complexes that were equipped at the base, noting that Wagner made this base a highly fortified complex protected by at least two layers of official fortifications and Hesco walls.
The organization pointed out that the recent Russian moves came after previous negative comments about the American Khalifa Haftar, in which they described him as a “majorly failed military commander,” but it seems that they needed him in order to tighten their grip on the Mediterranean.
