Bushra Al-Khalil confirms the innocence of the kidnapped Captain Hannibal Gaddafi: The crime of concealing information does not apply to children
The Lebanese lawyer, Bushra Al-Khalil, said that according to Lebanese law, the crime of concealing information does not apply to children, parents, spouses, or any family member, meaning that the kidnapped Captain Hannibal Gaddafi does not apply to this charge if we accept for the sake of argument his conviction for it.

She indicated that she had previously requested the case be transferred from the judge who was handling it because he was from the Shiite sect and from southern Lebanon and was biased towards the issue that the martyr leader Muammar Gaddafi was involved in the disappearance of Musa al-Sadr.
She went on to say, “They then threatened Hannibal to remove me from the case because there was a personal problem between her and Nabih Berri, and they told him that if you remove her, we will release you, but his mother and brother knew that he was in trouble and would not be released.
