Economic Analyst: Weak Infrastructure, Cybersecurity Risks Will Be Obstacles to Digital Transformation

Economic analyst Hussein Al-Buaishi confirmed that digital transformation is very important, in light of the scarcity of liquidity in commercial banks.

Al-Buaishi indicated, in statements to the Qatari website “Al-Araby Al-Jadeed”, that the weakness of the infrastructure will be an obstacle, which limits its use, and there may be risks related to cybersecurity, such as fraud or data breaches.

The economic analyst continued, that additional fees may be imposed on some transactions, which may be an obstacle to the spread of the new service.
