“103 infantry militia”: Al-Lafi continues with “Al-lahab” to stop shooting at the Zawia

Armed clashes erupted yesterday between members of Muhammad Bahroun, nicknamed “Al-Far” and Rashid Al-Bakoush, in the Harsha area, which led to the killing of student Ahmed Ashour and the injury of a person who was with him, called Muhammad Al-Basht, nicknamed “Al-Manqa.”

The media office of the 103rd Infantry Militia confirms that the representative of the Presidential Council, Abdullah Al-Lafi, contacted the militia commander, Othman Al-Lahab, to intervene to bring about a ceasefire, in response to the call of the people of the region.

The media office added, in statements to the “Safar” platform, that no one from the Chief of Staff, the Ministry of Defense, or any official from the government contacted us, indicating that there is a cautious calm witnessed in the city of Zawiya, specifically the Harsha area, after the 103rd militia entered to secure the areas of clashes.

The militia continued that the problem had not ended completely, and its intervention to break up the clash came after coordination between the two parties to the conflict, stressing its continued security of the coastal road.
