Abdel Kafi: It is possible that a military confrontation will break out between Washington and Moscow on Libyan soil
The dismissed officer from the Armed People’s Forces, Adel Abdel Kafi, said that Russia has much greater military capabilities than the United States in Libya, and has greater military weight in Libya despite the large American military weight on the African continent.
Abdel Kafi added, in statements to February Channel, that this Russian-American quarrel may cause a confrontation at a certain stage on Libyan soil, pointing out that the United States will not confront Russia itself, but rather will push local Libyan teams to clash with the Russian Legion, as a result of which a direct confrontation may arise Between Moscow and Washington.
He pointed out that despite the American communication with the Rajma camp and the American Khalifa Haftar to have an influence that reduces the severity of the Russian incursion into the eastern region, Washington realizes that he is playing on all sides to achieve his personal interest and the interest of his sons in order to continue the scene.
He pointed out that Haftar is adopting the Russian project and the Russian Legion, because he cannot refuse Russia’s orders that guarantee his survival, explaining that Russia currently has more control, capabilities and influence in Libya, and this is what worries Washington a lot in the recent period, according to what he said.
