Al Sharksi: All the Political bodies in the scene “illegal”

Member of the Committee of 75, Ahmed Al-Sharkasi, said that all the current bodies controlling the Libyan scene are “illegitimate,” especially since they all derive their legitimacy from political agreements and Security Council resolutions.

Al-Sharkasi explained in statements to the “The Standard” platform that there must be a comprehensive, realistic and applicable political solution in order for us to go to the elections, noting that the crisis in Libya is represented by the concentration of money and decision-making in one place, and the renewal of legitimacy.

He added, “All decisions issued by current bodies are usually disrespectful, because they are issued by bodies that don’t have real legitimacy derived from the people, and the UN mission doesn’t have the ability and competence to resolve the Libyan crisis, and Bathily presented more than one initiative and backed away from it, and this is evidence of the lack of Solid ideas.”

He concluded by saying, “The crisis must be ended radically, not with fabricated solutions, and the mistakes of the Skhirat Agreement or the Geneva Agreement must be overcome, especially after the Libyans now have a small percentage of the decision, while the intervening countries now have the largest percentage of the decision.”
