“Independent Arabia”: Statements and movements of Dabaiba’s elements threaten to detonate the situation with the Amazigh at the “Ras Jadir” crossing

A report published on the “Independent Arabia” website warned that the Ras Ijdir border crossing crisis could take on new dimensions and take dangerous turns, threatening to explode the security situation in the entire western region.

The website explained in its report that this crisis constitutes a threat to the social fabric in the entire western region, especially after the increasing tension between militias affiliated with Dabaiba and her government and other militias affiliated with the Berber cities in the Western Mountain and Zuwara.

The report indicated that fears of a massive military clash between the two parties are confirmed by military decisions and movements by Al-Dabaiba government or by the Zuwara militias on the other side.

Independent Arabia described what is happening as part of “the state of chaos that exists in Libya in general, which facilitated the control of the armed militias over the border crossings that were supposed to be entirely subject to the control of the Libyan state.”
