Al-Arab of London reveals that Al-Dabaiba and his government are afraid to enter into any public conflict with the “Berbers”

The London-based Al-Arab newspaper confirmed that Al-Dabaiba and his government, headed by the militiaman Imad Al-Trabelsi, are afraid to enter into any public conflict with the militias of the Berber towns in the Western Mountain, so as not to expose them to international embarrassment.

The newspaper explained in its report that Al-Dabaiba and Al-Trabelsi found themselves caught between the hammer of their forces’ inability to control the Ras Jdir crossing in a humiliating manner, and the anvil of the sensitivity of entering into an armed confrontation with the Berbers.

The newspaper attributed the Tripoli authorities’ fear of entering into an armed confrontation with the Zuwara militias to “their fear that any confrontation with the Amazigh as an ethnic, social and cultural component may constitute an international embarrassment for them, especially since they currently have an important network of regional and international relations.”
