Ziheo: The decision to dismiss Aoun came about his refusal to conclude illegal deals

Political activist Asaad Ziheo confirmed that the decision by the Administrative Control Authority (Popular Control) to suspend the Minister of Oil and Gas, Mohamed Aoun, came due to his refusal to conclude illegal oil deals.

Ziheo explained in exclusive statements to the Aswat Magharebia website that what is currently happening in the oil sector confirms the unnatural and uncomfortable situation of most of the official institutions in Libya, all of which operate in an inconsistent manner, which opens the door to violations, transgressions and corruption during the conclusion of many deals. According to his description.

He added, “The manner in which the duties of the Libyan Oil Minister were terminated, despite the great reservations expressed by many political actors, confirms the ambiguous method followed in managing this sensitive sector.”
