Qarmil Omar Al-Mukhtar, a political activist in the city of Zintan, said that the Zintan forces’ statement stirred the stagnation and stagnation occurring in the Libyan scene, and it contained essential and positive points that no one can ever doubt, and a demand for every free Libyan, whether the removal of foreigners or the loss of sovereignty.
Al-Mukhtar indicated, in a video clip on his Facebook page, that the statement did not say that Dr. Saif al-Islam Gaddafi was installed as president, but rather they said that he has the right to run for the presidential elections, and this is clear and frank talk, and he has the right to run like any Libyan citizen.
He pointed out that if they had said that he would be installed as your president by force, there would have been other words, but they said that he has the right to run, and it is an inherent right for any person, stressing that the Libyans have the right to choose who will lead them, whether Dr. Saif al-Islam, the American Khalifa Haftar, al-Sadiq ,A Gharian, a shepherd, a merchant, or any person.
He explained that the crisis is that everyone who rejects Dr. Saif al-Islam’s candidacy is a participant in the plan to divide and fragment Libya and plunder its resources, the so-called “Arab Spring,” which has caused devastation in all Arab countries and turned them into hell and scourge.
He continued that this is a plan that has been being prepared for years to fragment and divide the Arab world, and this global evil is created in the kitchens of Britain and the enemies of September and February are the Muslim Brotherhood or the Brotherhood of Satan.
He continued, “Neither America nor Britain want good for the country, and the Turks in Libya are nothing but contractors for the Americans and are preparing the land for them to occupy the country, and all the current officials in the country have sold the country for the sake of power, so you must rally around national figures who actually care about the country’s interests.”
He added that we do not accept questioning at all the intentions of Dr. Saif al-Islam without sitting with him and understanding his thought and vision, stressing that America and Britain are trying to make us quarrel over who comes into the country and heads it while they are cooking up satanic conspiracies for us.
He concluded by saying, “There is a bigger game being played in international kitchens to divide Libya. Whoever believes that Britain and America want good for Libya is nothing but petty and ignorant.”
