Independent Arabia: Khoury will not achieve anything in Libya amid increasing Russian influence and the chaos of armed militias

The “Independent Arabia” website ruled out that the Deputy UN Envoy, Stephanie Khoury, has achieved any achievement in Libya currently, especially amid the increasing Russian influence in the east and south of the country and a number of neighboring countries, in addition to the chaos of armed militias in the western region.

The website explained in a report that the most prominent obstacle to any attempt by Khoury at a solution is the main parties’ adherence to their narrow interests at the expense of any consensus that might end the crisis.

“Independent Arabia” saw that Khoury will seek to benefit from American support to her to push for the formation of a unified government and set dates for elections, with the parliamentary election being next December and the presidential election being postponed to the spring of next year, but she indicated that this path may not be successful either, because it It will not deviate from the path of its predecessors, and perhaps with the same vision, methods and methods, which indicates the repetition of the experience and therefore the result is the same.

The report noted that Khoury will hold a series of intensive meetings in the coming period with active political and military parties in the Libyan scene, to work on setting broad outlines to find a solution to the blockage in the political scene in Libya.
