Al-Bousaifi: This year, flights for pilgrims from the Western Region will depart to Jeddah directly from Sabha Airport

The director of Sabha International Airport, Al-Tahir Al-Bousaifi, said that for the first time at Sabha Airport, two Libyan Airlines planes met, one coming from Mitiga and the other from Benina, adding that Libyan Airlines flights have been suspended for a year from operating their flights to and from Sabha Airport.

Al-Bousaifi confirmed, in statements to the “Fasil” platform, that the company will begin operating 11 flights per week between Mitiga and Sabha, and 3 flights between Benina and Sabha, pointing out that the airport is ready to operate international flights and we are waiting for that to begin.

The director of Sabha International Airport explained that flights for pilgrims from the southern region will depart this year to Jeddah directly from Sabha Airport.
