The Italian “Globalist” website confirmed that the American Khalifa Haftar is currently in the service of Russian President Vladimir Putin, by sponsoring the Russian military presence in eastern Libya, which will allow it to spy on all of Europe.
The Italian website explained that although Russia has increased its military influence in Libya in cooperation with the American Haftar, it maintains its strong relations with the two competing governments, which was clearly evident in the travel of a Libyan military and political delegation to Moscow, days after the visit of Haftar’s son Khaled.
Regarding the delegation that left from Tripoli, the report stated that this delegation included figures who were known to be affiliated with Turkey, such as Muhammad Al-Haddad, which shows the widespread influence war taking place in Libya, it said.
The website added, “Moscow is currently trying to woo Khaled Haftar, by tempting him to train his military units, which will help him in his rapid rise in the military field, despite his young age and his lack of any military academic training despite holding the rank of major general.”
It continued, “It seems that Khaled Haftar is very different from his brother Saddam. Khaled is very impressed with cooperation with the Russians and would like to obtain their weapons in any way, while Saddam is more open towards western Libya.”
