Al-Rumaih: The UN mission’s statement regarding the disappearance of Ibrahim Al-Darsi is “blatant interference”

The advisor to the Libyan Organization for National Security Studies, Ramzi Al-Rumaih, confirmed that the UN mission’s statement regarding the disappearance of Tobruk Member of Parliament Ibrahim Al-Darsi can be described as “blatant interference.”

Al-Rumaih explained in statements to the Saudi Al-Arabiya channel: “When the competent authorities call to locate Ibrahim Al-Darsi, secure his immediate release, and conduct a comprehensive investigation, this is blatant interference by the mission and an indirect accusation against the authorities in eastern Libya.”

He continued by saying, “Security officials in eastern Libya are well aware of the tasks assigned to them and do not wait for the statements that the UN mission comes out with. There is a clear criminal suspicion so far for what Ibrahim Al-Darsi was subjected to, as his house and car were stolen. Where is the arbitrary arrest that the UN mission is talking about? ?!”

Al-Rumaih talked about the reason for Al-Darsi’s disappearance, saying, “It seems that there were people who attacked him on the way or personal disputes that were behind his disappearance.”

He went on to say, “It appears that the crime was an ambush by some people in a somewhat remote area of Benghazi, following his movements. It appears that this was concurrent with the theft of valuable stolen items from his home. They also sprayed some type of substance on his car to prevent any circumstances from being revealed for the search.” “Criminal about him.”

Al-Rumaih demanded that the issue be kept away from the tribe, saying, “Ibrahim Al-Darsi is not only affiliated with the Al-Darsa tribe. He is a representative of the Libyan nation, and there are local and international parties and forces that want to say that the Libyan East is unsafe so that they can compare it with what is happening in the West.”

It is noteworthy that Ibrahim Al-Darsi disappeared three days ago after the military parade by the forces of the American Khalifa Haftar, while Hammad’s parallel government denies knowledge of his fate, which confirms the fragile security situation in Benghazi and the eastern region.
