National Forces Initiative: Aoun’s suspension is evidence of the penetration of the “chaos of corruption” in the oil sector
The spokesman for the National Forces Initiative, Muhammad Chopar, confirmed that the decision of the Administrative Control Authority (Popular Control) is evidence of the penetration of what he called the “chaos of corruption” in the oil sector, which he believed would not end except by electing an executive authority alternative to the currently existing authorities.
In exclusive statements to the Aswat Magharebia website, Chopard explained that the oil sector is experiencing unparalleled chaos, and to end all this chaos, the international community is seeking to reach an agreement between the Libyans to form a new executive authority, away from the faces present in the current and previous authorities, that will be able to strike all sources of corruption. And hold everyone accountable and remove the occupier, led by the Russian forces that control several oil fields.
Chopard pointed out that the oil sector in Libya was the one that was exposed to great damage due to the spread of corruption chaos in the country, which caused corrupt figures to assume the reins of power in the oil sector, pointing out that “the current situation in the oil sector is considered one of the worst periods of corruption in the history of the sector”.
