Radio France Internationale confirmed that the American company Amentum, affiliated with the US Department of State and Defense, is currently supervising the training operations of armed groups in Libya.
Radio France added, in a report, that the company was established in 2020, and says that it is developing its program on the African continent on behalf of the US State Department, where it has clearly appeared in Somalia and Benin, and not just Libya.
The report indicated that the American company’s headquarters will be in Tripoli based on a contract signed with Al- Dabaiba government, where they were given a headquarters at the Mitiga military base in the capital, Tripoli, which is now free of militias.
It explained that the intense American activity in Tripoli appears to be aimed at confronting the Russian presence in the eastern Libyan bloc, pointing out that some believe that Washington seeks, through this step, to remove the militias from the headquarters of making any political decision before the installation of a new government.
