Al-Shibli: There is an international veto that prevents the Libyans from going to elections
The head of the People’s Voice Party, Fathi Omar Al-Shibli, confirmed that there is an international veto that hinders the Libyans from issuing a constitution that defines the identity of the state and goes to elections, because they do not want any patriotic man to emerge who will put Libya back on the right track and let us create an advanced, modern state.
Al-Shibli explained in a telephone interview on Walid Al-Lafi’s “February” channel that what is happening now in Libya is nothing but a recycling of the crisis and initiatives that have no beginning or end, and behind them are the American administration and the British government, who are the main obstructions to issuing the constitution.
He added, “The instructions of the American and British ambassadors and what they have been doing for 12 years clearly prove that they do not want to cross Libya to safety.”
He continued, “The policies of these countries in the Middle East are not far from what they are implementing in Libya, which is the policy of soft chaos, and that there will be stability in the Middle East only with countries that maintain relations with Israel (the Zionist entity).”
He pointed out that all of this is clearly evident through the American ambassador’s blatant interventions in Libyan internal affairs aimed at deepening the crisis, not resolving it. He attributed the recent American escalation in Libya to the fact that it comes to confront Russian influence, and it may be the most dangerous turning point in the Libyan crisis because it puts it on the verge of a collision Two great forces.
He concluded by saying, “America, Britain, and the international community have been controlling us since we were placed under Title Seven, and they do not want stability for us under any circumstances.”
